The Big Picture Wins Big Awards

The American Advertising Federation (AAF) Central Georgia presented its 2008–2009 ADDY® Awards on March 7 at downtown Macon’s SoChi Gallery. The Big Picture, a full-service marketing and advertising agency in Tifton, took home three gold ADDY awards and four silver ADDY awards – more total awards than any other agency in the competition.
“Our team was thrilled to win seven ADDY’s,” said Valerie Touchstone, Agency Principal for The Big Picture. “It is really an honor to receive recognition from the AAF.”

Over 60 advertising and media professionals attended the annual awards presentation, which is part of a three-tiered national competition conducted by the American Advertising Federation.
Of the 75 entries received by the AAF Central Georgia, 12 gold ADDY® Awards and 18 silver ADDY® Awards were presented in a variety of categories. Entries were judged based on creativity, originality and creative strategy. Gold winners are automatically entered in the District 7 competition, which includes Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana.
The winning entries submitted by The Big Picture include three gold ADDY’s for collateral material for two of Georgia’s Centers of Innovation, logistics and agribusiness; and, for an ad campaign for Cypress Restaurant in Tallahassee, Florida. The firm’s silver ADDY winners include the ”Money Talks” campaign for South Georgia Banking Company; the CD package design for Laura Edwards Music; the TiftisOn logo design for the Tift County Economic Development Authority and the political campaign for John Crosby for State Senate.
