Freshly Launched Web Site

The Big Picture team recently launched a new Web site for the Tift County Economic Development Authority. The site, www.tiftison.com, is part of an overall branding campaign for the authority. Features include a content management system that allows the client to easily update web information including the calendar, news and a resource library. A interesting feature of the Web site is that it is actually the integration of two sites. The tiftison URL takes viewers to a portion of the site designed specifically for industry recruitment and people considering moving to Tifton. Another URL, www.tiftonchamber.org, takes viewers to the chamber home page; however, it is really all one site and viewers can move easily between two – and share the resource library and calendar functions. Watch for new functions, such as a Feature Buildings and Sites section, which will be added in a few days!
Search engine optimization is another area the site excels. Built search engine friendly from the ground up, additional features such as tags, changing content and gleaning key words to use from the SEO tool and Google analytics has helped this site accelerate in page rankings since it’s launch.
